Technical Description

Mud Agitator is used for maintaining a drilling / work over fluid of uniform consistency throughout the surface mud system. Featuring a "C" face, Sparklet Agitators are coupled to a rugged oilfield gearbox, which eliminates misalignment and troublesome couplings

MUD HOPPER

Technical Description

The Hopper is used with high volume Centrifugal Pumps, normally on offshore rigs and large rigs. A butterfly valve is incorporated in the neck of the hopper to adjust flow and to close off the hopper after use.

The hopper comes complete with nozzle, venturi, funnel, sack table, butterfly valve all mounted on a base. This standard 2” nozzle handles 8 sacks/minute of barite and 4 sacks/minute gel. 3” male NPT inlet by 6” weld end outlet.

Technical Description
  • Unit consists of an eductor coupled to the yoke of a model 1002 JS
  • The educator has removable and replaceable nozzle amuser inserts and a 0-30 Hg vacuum gauge.
  • The Jet Shear consists of a 10" mixing chamber with two removable nozzle plates, tow nozzle plate covers, Victaulic clamps.
  • Unit is skid mounted with a stainless steel chemical hopper with main pump line bypass and table
  • All carbon steel surfaces are sandblasted and epoxy coated with an urethane upper coat
  • Intel : 4" NPT threaded nipple with 0-100 psi pressure gauge
  • Outlet : 6" Victaulic groove nipple.
